upcoming at Kean

So I was searching through local schools and performance venues to see if there were any upcoming performances/lectures that would be applicable for the course.  At Kean on the 13th of February, there will be a (free) lecture presented in Wilkins Theatre by the 2nd Annual Conference on Human Rights entitled “Slavery and the Twenty-First Century”  I have pasted the information for the event below and will also include the link to all of their upcoming performances and lectures.  Later in the year there is also going to be a concert honoring the life & works of Jewish chamber composer Paul Ben-Haim by the Jewish Studies Program at Kean.  This concert isn’t free, but the student fee (for both Kean and non-Kean students) is only $5 and it is on March 26th.

this link will bring you to the page.   The events I posted about are the last two on the bottom of the page.  As I find other events, I will let you know.  I’m very into theatre and music performances, so I’ll let you know anything I find out about, such as the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre touring company that is coming to NJPAC in early May! (That’s something I’d very much like to go to!!)  Hope this was of some help!
